Chief Executive Officer

Cliff Beek is an experienced executive and entrepreneur with over 25 years of leadership across the space and advanced technology sectors. His background includes building and scaling equity-backed companies in aerospace, defence intelligence, cyber security, and cloud infrastructure.

Cliff brings deep experience in commercialisation, strategic growth, and operational leadership, supporting organisations as they translate complex technologies into scalable, real-world solutions.

He holds an MBA from the Wharton School and a BA from George Washington University.

Ziheng Xiang

Chief Technology Officer

Ziheng Xiang leads research and development at SC Solutions, overseeing the application of advanced technologies across space and Earth observation domains.

He has successfully led teams delivering multiple European Space Agency (ESA) contracts and UK government-funded projects focused on space applications. Ziheng is an ESA mentor in advanced technologies and brings expertise spanning physics, optics, and quantum sciences, with a strong focus on research translation and commercialisation.

He holds a PhD in Physics from the University of Cambridge.

Machine Learning Scientist

Fei Fang is a machine learning specialist with expertise in Earth observation, satellite imagery, and AI-driven analytics. He leads the development of machine learning and deep learning models used to analyse satellite and aerial imagery for environmental and land intelligence applications.

With over seven years of experience in machine learning consultancy, including previous leadership of machine learning teams, Fei brings a strong applied focus to model optimisation and real-world deployment.

He holds a PhD in Operational Research (Mathematics) from the University of Southampton.
